Ben Carpenter is an ambitious entrepreneur and the Founder and Managing Director of Markson, a Bristol-based group providing construction, property management, and development services across Bristol and the surrounding areas. Driven by a passion for quality, high customer satisfaction, and hands-on leadership, Ben started Markson to create a company that delivers projects and services clients can truly rely on, while also fostering a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and part of a close-knit team.

Since its founding, Ben has grown Markson into a team of 21 skilled professionals, building a reputation for reliability, craftsmanship, and strong client relationships. He oversees all aspects of the business, including strategic growth, capital allocation, and employee engagement, always prioritizing customer satisfaction through teamwork. For Ben, creating a company with a family-oriented culture is as important as project delivery, ensuring every team member feels supported, empowered, and part of Markson’s ongoing success. Ben is proud of the team he has built and feels very privileged to work alongside such talented, dedicated and skilled individuals at Markson. Outside of work, Ben prioritises family life, having become a father in 2024, stays active through sports, and has a passion for cars, both classic and modern. He believes that balancing professional ambitions with personal interests fuels creativity, focus, and energy in leadership.
