Meet Daniel – Head of Construction
I’m the Head of Construction at Markson Construction, with over 16 years’ experience in the construction industry.
My career started as a carpenter, giving me a strong hands-on understanding of construction and a real appreciation for quality workmanship. That experience has stayed with me throughout my career and still plays a big part in how I approach projects today.
As Head of Construction, I combine that practical background with my experience in project management and quantity surveying to oversee projects from start to finish. I enjoy working with clients, contractors and project teams to find practical solutions, keep projects on track and deliver quality work within budget.
Away from work, family life keeps me busy. I spend most of my spare time with my wife and kids, usually working on some sort of project — whether that’s building treehouses, putting together a chicken coop or trying to grow a decent tomato. My wife has learnt to accept that I’m rarely able to leave a project alone once I’ve started it.
